Biografia: Mirco Marchelli was born in Novi Ligure in 1963. He lives and works in Ovada, in the province of Alessandria. Since 1994, his exhibition activity has intensified with numerous solo shows in Italy and abroad, particularly in Spain, Germany, France, and Belgium. In 2011, he participated in the 54th Venice Biennale of Art, Italian Pavilion. Among his recent solo exhibitions: Hilde Vandaele Gallery, Poperinge, Belgio, 2024. Museo Archeologico, Acqui Terme, 2023; Fondazione Biscozzi Rimbaud, Lecce, 2023; Museo dei Lumi, Sinagoga, Casale Monferrato, 2021; Museo Ettore Guatelli, Ozzano Taro, Collecchio, 2016; Palazzo Fortuny, Venice, 2013; Accademia Filarmonica, Casale Monferrato, 2011. His last exhibition at our gallery in Milan in 2018, titled “A capo,” was dedicated to ceramic works created by the artist in Albisola Capo.
