Michael Ajerman è nato nel 1977 a New York, USA. Vive e lavora a Londra e New York.

 

Dopo il diploma alla Corcoran School of Art di New York e alla New York Studio School, e i corsi estivi della Yale Summer School di Norfolke; nel 2003 completa gli studi con il Master alla Slade School of Art di Londra, UK.

Negli anni ha esposto in numerose mostre personali in Inghilterra, Stati Uniti, Italia e Israele: Fisherman, Strawberry and Devil Crab (2010) e Squash (2013) alla Transition Gallery di Londra, UK; The Good, The Bad and The Ugly alla Rotschild Fine Art di Tel Aviv, Israele; Heads of Tails at HemingwayArt, Oxford, UK; Third Floor (2010) e Inatteso/Unexpected (2012) alle gallerie Marcorossi artecontemporanea di Verona e di Milano; Glossolalia alla Toomey-Tourell Gallery di San Francisco, USA.

Ha partecipato a numerose rassegne collettive: nel 2015 East End Painting Prize alla Rum Factory di London; Kunskog allo spazio 500 Dollars di Londra; East Wing Collection 8 alle Courtauld Galleries, Londra; The Painting Room alla Transition Gallery, Londra; e Bomberg's Relevance alla Ben Uri Gallery, Londra.

Ha ricevuto il William Newman Memorial Painting Prize nel 1996, il Royal Academy's British Institute Award nel 2003, e il Manhattan Graphic SummerInk Scholarship nel 2012.

He studied at the Corcoran School of Art and the New York Studio School, along with taking part in the Yale Summer School at Norfolk. In 2003 he completed a Masters Degree at the Slade School of Art in London, UK.

Since then he has had solo exhibitions in the UK, Italy, USA and Israel including Fisherman, Strawberry and Devil Crab (2010) and Squash (2013) at the Transition Gallery in London, UK; along with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly at the Rotschild Fine Art in Tel Aviv, Israel; Heads of Tails at HemingwayArt, Oxford, UK; Third Floor (2010) and Inatteso/Unexpected (2012) at Marcorossi artecontemporanea in Verona and in Milan, Italy; and Glossolalia at Toomey-Tourell Gallery, San Francisco, USA.
